Asynchronous teaching and learning

In my presentation at the ELIA webinar on April 30th, I was talking about our experiences made when switching to online learning and teaching. Ways of connecting in an asynchronous way became key to the success of our Distance Learning Blueprint since live sessions require high bandwidth and might be also quite tiring if too long.

Such ways of keeping in touch asynchronously might include shared videos, screencasts, audio tracks or even analogue ways such as design kits that have been sent out to students.

It would be great to share and gather some of your own experiences made with such asynchronous ways of learning and teacing. Therefore, I set up a padlet where you can upload a brief description of your own experience. Your posts can include images, links or even more…
